Every year I happily accept the invitation to serve as faculty for Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop. Every year I am assigned to trial teams who represent a while police officer in a civil rights violation case brought forward by a black man (which is a little off-brand but I’m up for a challenge.) And every year, without fail, during the week that I am teaching a bunch of my cases blow up and it starts raining warrants. Not the week before; not the week after; always the week that I am teaching.
I’m pleased to report that my clients and students fared well this week. Thank you Harvard Law School for allowing me to join in on this great program.
